Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi was in attendance when Pyramids FC defeated APR FC in the CAF Champions League preliminary clash.

Currently unattached, the Tunisian tactician seized the opportunity to travel to Egypt to watch Pyramids FC beat APR FC in the much-anticipated clash.

The Egyptian outfit, who are the reigning champions of the CAF Champions League triumph over the Rwandan giants, inflicting a 3-0 win over their opponent to secure qualification to the next stage of the preliminary round.

Nabi, who masterminded to end the Kaizer Chiefs 10-year trophy drought last season left the South African outfit late in September

The Tunisian coach chose to leave after Amakhosi proposed to suspend him for alleged coaching qualifications that were invalid following their embarrassing 3-1 loss to Sekhukhune United in the Premiership at the FNB Stadium.

The club decided to suspend the Tunisian coach, claiming they had requested him to renew his expiring licence. Nabi, however, insisted that his credentials were still valid and ultimately chose to part ways with the club, saying the trust had been broken.
