Former Egypt international Haytham Farouk has claimed Mohammed Salah has renewed his contract with Liverpool.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool will elapse at the end of the 2024/25 football campaign and has yet to receive contract renewal offer from the club.
But according to Farouk, his compatriot has extended his stay Liverpool.
“Congratulations on renewing your contract with the number you like and the period you want.
“The Egyptian king rules with his own judgments.” He wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 32-year-old winger has been outstanding since joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma.
Salah has been Liverpool’s main man this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 12 appearances in the English Premier League.
