Waleed Rakraki, the coach of the Moroccan national team, concluded his tour of France to meet with several Atlas Lions players, aiming to include them in the upcoming camp.
According to sources close to “Kooora,” Rakraki landed in France to meet with Nael El-Ainawi, a player from Lens, and Elias Bounasghir, a player from Monaco, especially as he has decided to include them in the Atlas Lions squad for the March camp.
The source added, “Rakraki also intends to check on Sofiane Diop, a player from Nice who chose to represent Morocco instead of France, but he missed the recent Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.”
“Afterwards, Rakraki will fly to Saudi Arabia to monitor the trio of Abderrazak Hamdallah, the striker for Al-Ittihad Jeddah, Abdelhamid Sabiri, the player for Al-Fayha, and Mourad Batna, the player for Al-Fateh.”
Regarding Yassine Bounou, Munir El Haddadi, and Romain Saïss, they are constants in the Moroccan squad, and their presence in the upcoming camp is guaranteed.
However, the main focus of the Saudi Arabia visit is Hamdallah, especially after his recent outstanding performances with Al-Ittihad, considering he was excluded from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.”
