However, they maintained their chances in the Senegal Cup and League Cup, as they had two finals to play against Diaraf and US Gorée, respectively. Casa Sport aimed to win at least one of these trophies to secure a place in African competitions for the following season. The club had previously won the Senegal Cup in 2010, the League Cup in 2011, and the championship in 2012.
