Algerian clubs qualified for continental competitions, including ES Sétif and USM El Harrach for the Champions League and CS Constantine for the CAF Cup, have decided to participate in both competitions. This decision comes after the president of the Algerian Football Federation, Mohamed Raouraoua, had initially proposed the idea of their absence to lighten the calendar and reduce travel costs. However, after a meeting with club presidents, it was collectively decided that the teams would compete in both the Champions League and the CAF Cup. USM Alger, qualified for the CAF Cup, has reserved its final response for further reflection.
