The first-day clash will feature Asec Mimosa against Stella Club of Adjamé in one of the many Abidjan derbies. Africa Sport, facing potential relegation due to a crisis within the club’s governing body, will host Sporting Club de Gagnoa. Before the league opener, Sewé and Asec will compete in the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Super Cup in Yamoussoukro on September 28.
