FOOTBALL: IVORY COAST CANDIDATE FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF CAN 2019 AND 2021

Ivory Coast has officially announced its candidacy to host the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in 2019 and 2021. The decision to pursue hosting rights for these football tournaments comes after the country successfully secured the organization of the Afrobasket 2013 (African Basketball Cup of Nations) scheduled from August 20 to 31. Additionally, Ivory Coast will host the Francophonie Games in 2017.
