The crisis at Sport in Abidjan continues, marked by a series of twists and turns. In an extraordinary general meeting, the Associate Members (MAM) decided to terminate the functions of the provisional administrator, Cheickna Sylla, appointed by the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF). The MAMs also rehabilitated the former president, Me KONE Cheick Oumar, who was elected on August 6, 2011. The decision comes amid a deepening crisis in the club’s board of directors, financial difficulties, and poor performance in the Ivorian Ligue 1. The supporters of Africa Sport are calling for the organization of elections to end the crisis and express dissatisfaction with the federation’s handling of the situation.
