Zlatan Ibrahimovic Eyes PSG as Final Destination Before Retirement
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has offered fresh insight into his future plans, suggesting he may end his playing career at Paris Saint-Germain. The Swedish striker, who turns 34 in 2016, indicated that he intends to retire when his current contract with PSG expires.
In an interview with Espnfc.com, Ibrahimovic said: “I still have two seasons ahead of me. After that, I’ll be 34 and I don’t see myself continuing to play at the highest level at that age. So, the answer is probably yes.”
When asked about a potential future role off the pitch, such as becoming PSG’s sporting director, Ibrahimovic responded, “We’ll wait and see what happens next. I’ll first try to bring great results for the club on the pitch.”
The striker’s comments highlight his commitment to PSG while also signaling a gradual transition towards retirement and possibly a new role within the club.
