Zamalek ended a five-year trophy drought by winning the Egyptian Cup with a 3-0 victory over Wadi Degla. Ahmed Gaafar opened the scoring after 12 minutes, and he found the net again in the second half, supported by Shikabala. Ahmed Eid also posed a threat, but it was Shikabala’s impressive free kick that secured the title for Zamalek. The win brought joy to the club’s supporters after a long period without a trophy.
