The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are set to sign a memorandum of understanding in Cairo, Egypt, next Thursday, as announced by CAF on its website. This collaboration aims to share UEFA’s technical expertise across various areas with CAF.
The partnership will encompass a wide range of programs including training, refereeing, youth football, women’s football, competition organization, administration, marketing, media, and social responsibility initiatives. UEFA will work closely with CAF to implement these programs.
The agreement is initially planned to conclude in July 2015 but may be extended upon mutual agreement between the two football governing bodies.
