Claude Le Roy, after a stint as a consultant on Canal+ in recent weeks, is returning to his coaching career, a profession he has been involved in for over 20 years. Following his departure as the coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo in June, the French coach has found a new position with the Congo national team. Le Roy confirmed the news, expressing his happiness and pride about the new adventure. This move makes Congo his fifth African team, following Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, and previously having coached Malaysia, Oman, and Syria. Le Roy’s contract with Congo is reportedly for two years, and he will now begin preparations for the CAN 2015 qualifiers with the team.
