The draw for the 2013 CECAFA Cup took place on Friday in Nairobi, where this year’s edition is scheduled to be hosted on November 27. The tournament is set to bring together local national teams from East Africa, with 12 participating teams organized into three groups of four.
Defending champions Uganda find themselves placed in Group C, where they will contend with Rwanda, Sudan, and Eritrea.
The host nation, Kenya, faces a challenging task in Group A, sharing the group with Ethiopia, Zanzibar, and South Sudan.
