The final round of qualifiers for the 2014 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations has been set following the return matches of the first round. Some intriguing matchups are on the horizon, including the southern African derby between Zambia and Zimbabwe, the North African clash between Algeria and Tunisia, and the Senegal-Cameroon duel.
Notably, Namibia has already secured qualification as the host nation, while Equatorial Guinea, the reigning African champions, are expected to face Ivory Coast. Nigeria awaits Rwanda in their matchup.
The first leg of the matches is scheduled for May 23, 24, and 25, with the return leg set for June 6, 7, and 8. By the evening of June 8, the seven additional qualifiers, along with Namibia, will be determined.
The final tournament is slated to take place from October 11 to 15, 2014.
