Rolland Courbis has decided to end his collaboration with USM Alger after a year and a half as the coach. The French technician announced the decision, citing increasing complications and his need for rest. Courbis had led USM Alger to an Algerian Cup-UAFA Cup double last year. While there were speculations linking him to the vacant coaching position at Ajaccio, Courbis denied any such connection.
