AC Léopards, the Congolese team that won the 9th edition of the African Confederation Cup (CAF), was honored last Wednesday by President Dénis Sassou N’Guesso on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the Republic of Congo’s independence. The team defeated Djoliba of Mali with a score of 2-1 in Dolisie. Additionally, the president of AC Léopards, Ayayos Ikounga Raymond, was named in the Congolese Order of Merit as a commander, while other team members received the Order of Merit at the rank of officer. The team presented President Sassou N’Guesso with the trophy of the 9th edition of the CAF Cup.
