The Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has announced that the national first division championship for the 2013-2014 season will commence on March 8, 2014. The season’s registration and commitment formalities for Division 1 (D1) and Division 2 (D2) clubs will begin on January 20, 2014. Due to resource constraints, the D2 season, initially scheduled to start on December 28, 2013, has been canceled. Gabriel Améyi, president of the FTF, expressed the organization’s commitment to ensuring that both D1 and D2 can start within one week of each other.
