It appears that Amadou Pathé Diallo has coached his last match with Mali on Tuesday. The coach was relieved of his duties by the new president of Femafoot (Malian Football Federation), and now Boubacar Diarra is tasked with finding a new coach for the Eagles.
In reality, Mali has been without a permanent coach since last June when Patrice Carteron departed for TP Mazembe in a turbulent exit. Amadou Diallo had taken on the role as an interim manager but faced challenges, failing to qualify the team for the 2014 World Cup.
The heavy defeat against South Korea with a score of 1-3 on Tuesday seems to have been the final blow that led to the decision to part ways with Amadou Diallo. Mali is now in search of a new coach to guide the team forward.
