Foggia bring in Italy-Cameroon midfielder Valdes Ngana from Juve Next Gen

Foggia have completed the loan signing of Italy-Cameroon midfielder Valdes Ngana from Juve Next Gen, with the 20-year-old central midfielder joining the Serie C club until 30 June 2027.

Ngana moves after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Swiss club Rapperswil-Jona. That spell ended on 30 June, when he returned to Juve Next Gen, before switching to Foggia on 28 August.

The right-footed midfielder began the current campaign with Juventus’ second team, which competes in Serie C Group A. His move takes him to Foggia’s Group C set-up and marks his latest change of club after two loan moves during 2025-26.

Ngana joined Rapperswil-Jona on 16 January 2026 before returning to Juve Next Gen at the end of the season. He had previously moved into the Next Gen squad from Juventus Under-20s on 1 July 2025, having progressed through the club’s youth system.

The player started his development with Juventus Youth after joining from Atletico Torino in January 2019. He subsequently moved through Juventus Under-17s and Under-19s before reaching the Under-20 side and then the club’s senior development team.

Born on 17 August 2006, Ngana holds Italian and Cameroonian nationality. He is listed at 1.85m and plays primarily in central midfield.

Foggia’s new arrival joins a club competing in Serie C Group C, while Juve Next Gen remain in Group A. The loan places Ngana with Foggia through the 2026-27 season, with the scheduled return to Juventus’ second team set for 30 June 2027.

Ngana has therefore moved from Juve Next Gen to Foggia on loan, completing the transfer on 28 August 2026.
