Flamengo face Pyramids FC in high stakes Intercontinental clash

Pyramids of Egypt take on Brazilian giants Flamengo on Saturday at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Doha in a blockbuster Intercontinental Cup clash.

Pyramids arrive full of confidence after winning the CAF Champions League and stunning Asian champions Al Ahli Saudi with a 3-1 victory to reach this stage. Flamengo, champions of South America, booked their ticket by edging Cruz Azul 2-1 on Wednesday.​

The match carries huge importance, as the winner will advance to the final to meet European champions Paris Saint-Germain for the Intercontinental Clubs title. Kick-off is scheduled for Saturday, 13 December 2025, at 19:00 in Egypt, 20:00 in Saudi Arabia, and 21:00 in the UAE.
