Mofokeng could not feature for Orlando Pirates in their mid-week clash against Orbit College following an injury setback. In his absence, the Soweto giants managed to secure maximum points over their opponent.
Having returned to full fitness, the talented attacker has been included in Orlando Pirates squad for their Premier League clash against Chippa United, slated for Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Mofokeng had featured in all six matches of the season before missing the sides’ last game through injury.
Ahead of the Chippa United clash, the Buccaneers have hinted that the South African starlet could make his return to the pitch.
It’s worth noting that Orlando’s start to the season has been inconsistent, with the team sitting only ninth, having collected six points from home wins over Stellenbosch and Orbit College. However, reaching the MTN8 Cup final has certainly boosted the squad’s confidence.
