Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that teenage sensation Lamine Yamal is fully fit and will return to action this weekend as the Blaugrana face Las Palmas in a Spanish La Liga clash at Montjuic.
The 17-year-old has been sidelined since the start of November due to an ankle injury, during which Barcelona struggled in the league, dropping points in two matches. However, Yamal’s return to training this week has provided a significant boost for the Catalan giants.
“Lamine is back. He is ready to play. We will see if he starts or not. He can play, and he will play,” Flick told reporters during a pre-match press conference.
While the manager has yet to decide whether Yamal will start the game, his availability adds firepower to Barcelona’s attack. The talented youngster has been a key player this season, showcasing skill and maturity well beyond his years.
Barcelona will look to capitalise on Yamal’s return to secure a crucial victory against Las Palmas as they aim to regain momentum in their La Liga campaign.
The match between Barcelona and Las Palmas will kick off at 1 pm at Estadi Olimpic Luis Companys on Saturday, November 30.
