Fiorentina linked with 1. FC Nurnberg forward Mohamed Ali Zoma
Italian-Ivorian forward Mohamed Ali Zoma is the subject of a reported 2. Bundesliga-to-Serie A move from 1. FC Nurnberg to Fiorentina.
The 22-year-old second striker has made an impressive start to the 2026-27 league campaign, scoring three goals in two appearances for Nurnberg. He has started both matches and played 97% of the club’s available league minutes.
Zoma joined Nurnberg from UC AlbinoLeffe in August 2025 for €1.5m and has since established himself in the German club’s first-team squad. He also featured in Nurnberg’s opening DFB-Pokal match this season, although he did not score.
Fiorentina’s interest would represent a move to Italy’s top flight for a player born in Merate, who holds Italian and Ivorian nationality. The rumoured probability of the transfer is listed at 19%, with no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.
Zoma’s current market value is €8m, four months after Nurnberg signed him from AlbinoLeffe. His form has increased attention around a player who remains under contract with the German club until 30 June 2029.
For now, Zoma remains a Nurnberg player and is wearing the number 23 shirt for the club.
