Fiorentina are reportedly keen on acquiring Cher Ndour, a midfielder currently on loan at Besiktas from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Born in Italy to a Senegalese father and an Italian mother, Ndour is a youth international for Italy.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the Italian club has successfully negotiated personal terms with the 20-year-old player, indicating strong interest in bringing him to Serie A.
However, negotiations between Fiorentina and PSG are still underway, with the French club demanding €8 million along with 40% of any future transfer fee as part of the agreement.
This financial stipulation could be a point of contention in the ongoing discussions.
Cher Ndour joined PSG as a free agent during the summer of 2023, initially spending the latter part of last season on loan at Braga.
Since his move to Besiktas, he has made a notable impact, featuring in 20 matches this season, during which he has scored one goal and provided two assists.
As Fiorentina looks to strengthen their squad, Ndour’s performance at Besiktas could play a crucial role in determining his future at the club.
