Nigeria Names 23-Woman Squad for 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup
The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to compete in their eighth FIFA Women’s World Cup, as the prestigious tournament kicks off in Canada on June 6, 2015. Head coach Edwin Okon has released a strong 23-player list featuring a mix of experience and youthful talent.
Nigeria has been drawn into Group D, often labeled the “Group of Death,” alongside Sweden, Australia, and the United States. The Falcons will play their matches in Winnipeg and Vancouver.
