Ivory Coast Ready for Historic Women’s World Cup Debut in Canada
The Ivory Coast women’s national team is set to make its first-ever appearance at a FIFA Women’s World Cup, which takes place in Canada from June 6 to July 5, 2015. Under the leadership of Coach Clémentine Touré, the Elephants will aim to make an impression on the global stage.
Key players such as Cécile Esmei, Marie Yassi, Josée Nahi, and Tia N’Rehy have been included in the 23-woman squad. Ivory Coast will face a tough group, starting against Germany on June 7, then playing Thailand on June 11, and Norway on June 15 in the group stage.
