On the continental scale, Togo is positioned at 14th place, trailing behind Cape Verde, Libya, and Sierra Leone at 13th, 12th, and 11th places, respectively. Despite its elimination in the quarter-finals, Ivory Coast maintains its position as the top-ranked team in Africa. Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, and Algeria complete the top five positions in Africa.
At the global level, Spain continues to dominate the world rankings, closely followed by Germany and Argentina. The fluctuations in rankings reflect the dynamic performances and outcomes of teams during the CAN 2013, contributing to shifts in their standing on both the African and world football stage.
