In the FIFA world rankings for the month of November, there have been minimal changes among African nations, particularly those that have qualified for the upcoming World Cup. Ivory Coast continues to lead the Confederation of African Football (CAF) rankings, securing the 17th position globally. Ghana, celebrating its third consecutive qualification for the World Cup, is second in Africa and 24th in the world. Algeria follows closely in third place, holding the 26th spot.

Nigeria, the reigning African champion, is ranked fourth in CAF and 33rd globally. The Super Eagles are followed by Mali (41st) and Cape Verde (42nd). Tunisia occupies the seventh position in Africa and still harbors hopes of qualifying for the World Cup.

Among the five African teams that have secured a spot in the World Cup in Brazil, Cameroon has the lowest ranking. The team, led by Samuel Eto’o, is positioned 10th in Africa and 59th in the world.

The African Top 10 rankings are as follows:

  1. Ivory Coast
  2. Ghana
  3. Algeria
  4. Nigeria
  5. Mali
  6. Cape Verde
  7. Tunisia
  8. Egypt
  9. Burkina Faso
  10. Cameroon
