FIFA has recently unveiled its latest world rankings for February, reflecting shifts in the global football landscape. While Ivory Coast remains the top-ranked African team, it has experienced a drop of six places, now standing at 23rd worldwide.
Algeria has ascended to the second position in Africa, securing the 26th spot globally. Following closely behind is Cape Verde, claiming the 27th position on the world stage.
Ghana, another participant in the upcoming World Cup, holds the fourth spot in Africa and sits at 37th in the world rankings. Egypt, Tunisia, and Cameroon follow suit, occupying the 38th, 45th, and 46th spots, respectively.
The rest of the African top ten includes Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and Mali, at 62nd, 47th, and 59th globally, respectively.
