**FIFA Presidential Election: Seven Candidates Submitted, Six Eligible**
On **Wednesday, October 28**, the **Ad Hoc Electoral Commission** confirmed the formalization of **seven candidacies** for the FIFA presidential election. The candidates, in alphabetical order, are:
* Prince Ali
* Musa Bility
* Jérôme Champagne
* Gianni Infantino
* Michel Platini
* Sheikh Salman
* Tokyo Sexwale
The commission did **not mention David Nakhid**, former Trinidad and Tobago captain, who claims to have applied.
However, only **six applications will be considered**, as **Michel Platini is provisionally suspended** from all football-related activities. His candidacy will remain on hold until the suspension is lifted.
The **FIFA presidential election** is scheduled for **February 26 in Zurich**.
