Mohamed Raouraoua, the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), has been appointed as the president of the organizing committee for the Club World Championship. This significant role positions Raouraoua to lead a team that includes notable football figures such as Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of PSG, and Wadii El Jery, the president of the Tunisian Football Federation.
Raouraoua’s extensive international experience and influence in football are underscored by his various roles. In addition to his position as the president of the FAF, he heads the associations commission chaired by Senes Erzik. Since February 2011, Raouraoua has been a member of the FIFA Executive Committee and is also part of the organizing committee for the FIFA World Cup, led by Eugenio Figueredo.
Another Algerian figure, Hamid Haddadj, the former president of the Algerian Football Federation, has been appointed as a member of the disciplinary committee chaired by Swiss official Claudio Suller. These appointments reflect the involvement of Algerian representatives in key positions within the global football governance structure.
