The FFF aimed to avoid competition between the two matches.
As a result, the friendly encounter between Portugal and Cameroon will now be held in Leiria, Portugal. Cameroon is placed in Group A alongside Brazil, Mexico, and Croatia, while Portugal finds itself in the group with Ghana, Germany, and the USA.
