Al Hilal goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou, says their aim is to win against Real Madrid in their Club World Cup opener tonight.
The Saudi side will clash with the Spanish at the Hard Rock Stadium in their opener with kick off scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
“It will be a big match against a club we all know,” Bonotold Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadhiyah ahead of the game.
“But Al Hilal is also a big club that always aspires to win and bears the responsibility of representing Saudi football. We hope to achieve a positive result.”
Regarding Al Hilal’s goals in the World Cup, Bono said: “In the World Cup, we have to take it one match at a time, and then see what can happen.”
The Moroccan goalkeeper also spoke about his first week working under Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, who recently took over from Portuguese Jorge Jesus.
He explained: “It was a good week. The coach tried to implement new ideas during that period, and we, the players, dealt with them well.”
Bono concluded his remarks by commenting on the possibility of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé missing the match due to a fever.
“All Real Madrid players are great, so we must focus on ourselves and not get distracted by anything else.”
