FIFA has announced the five goalkeepers nominated for the 2013 FIFPro World XI. The nominated goalkeepers are Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Petr Cech (Chelsea), Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), and Victor Valdes (Barcelona). The final FIFA FIFPro World XI, consisting of the best eleven players of the year, will be revealed during the Ballon d’Or Gala on January 13, 2014. The gala will also honor the best player and coach of the year, along with other awards, including the FIFA Puskás Prize for the best goal of the year.
