Festy Ebosele linked with move away from Basaksehir
Festy Ebosele, the Irish-Nigerian right-back at Basaksehir, has been linked with a move to another club.
The 24-year-old remains under contract with the Turkish Super Lig side until 30 June 2028. Ebosele joined Basaksehir from Udinese on 31 January 2025 in a transfer reported at €1.5m, having returned from a loan spell at Watford earlier that season.
Ebosele has yet to make an appearance in Basaksehir’s current UEFA Conference League qualifying campaign, despite the club having two possible matches recorded. He is listed as a defender who operates primarily at right-back and favours his right foot.
The player’s current market value is listed at €2.5m, below the €6m figure recorded when he moved from Udinese to Basaksehir. That valuation could provide context if negotiations develop, although the terms of any potential move have not been established.
Born in Enniscorthy, Ebosele came through the academy system at Bray before moving to Derby in 2018. He made his senior move to Udinese in 2022, joining the Italian club on a free transfer from Derby.
For now, Ebosele remains a Basaksehir player with two years left on his contract beyond the current campaign.
