Fernando Da Cruz excited by Kaizer Chiefs’ return

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando Da Cruz has expressed his excitement about returning to Naturena, praising the warm reception he has received from the club and the quality of the facilities available at the Kaizer Chiefs Village.

The French tactician, who is preparing for the challenges ahead with the Soweto giants, said he has been impressed by the environment at the club’s training base and believes the facilities provide the perfect platform to help the team succeed.

Da Cruz revealed that he feels at home after receiving a positive welcome from everyone at Kaizer Chiefs, describing his return to the club as a motivating experience.

“I have received a very warm welcome, which I appreciate. I am happy to be back at this great club,” Da Cruz said.

The coach also highlighted the excellent condition of the training facilities at Naturena, pointing out the quality of the playing surface, gym and other resources available to the technical team and players.

“The Kaizer Chiefs Village at Naturena has all the facilities needed to do a good job. The pitch, the gym and everything else are in very good condition. I have a good feeling about it,” he added.

Da Cruz’s positive assessment comes as Kaizer Chiefs continue preparations for the upcoming season, with expectations high for the club to return to challenging for major honours.

The French coach will now focus on implementing his football philosophy and building a competitive squad capable of delivering improved performances after a period of transition at the club.
