Brahim Diaz on the radar of Fenerbahce

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are exploring an unconventional transfer arrangement to secure the services of Moroccan international Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid, with negotiations between the two clubs reportedly underway.

The Istanbul-based outfit are keen to strengthen their attacking options and have identified the 27-year-old playmaker as a key target ahead of the next transfer window.

According to reports, Fenerbahce are working on a creative proposal that could see them sign Diaz without paying a direct transfer fee upfront.

Under the proposed arrangement, the Turkish club are prepared to offer Real Madrid a 20 percent sell-on clause on midfielder Arda Guler, who moved to the Spanish capital from Fenerbahce.

The agreement would entitle Los Blancos to receive 20 percent of any future transfer fee should Guler eventually leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid reportedly value Diaz at approximately €35 million, but the proposal has attracted interest from officials at the Spanish club, who consider the financial structure economically attractive.

Both parties are expected to hold further meetings to discuss the legal and financial details of the potential agreement as Fenerbahce look to make progress in their pursuit of the Moroccan attacker.

Diaz has become an important attacking option at Real Madrid, where his technical ability, creativity and versatility have made him a valuable member of the squad.

The Moroccan international has enjoyed considerable success during his time in Spain, winning both the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League.

At international level, Diaz is also a key figure for Morocco, making him an attractive addition for Fenerbahce as they seek to strengthen their squad with proven quality.

However, negotiations remain ongoing, with the proposed arrangement yet to receive final approval from both clubs.
