Fenerbahce eye Ethan Mbappe as Lille seek new deal
Ethan Mbappe has emerged as a potential transfer target for Fenerbahce, with the Turkish giants reportedly monitoring the Lille midfielder’s contract situation ahead of a possible move.
According to TransferFeed, intermediary agents have proposed the 19-year-old to Fenerbahce as the Istanbul club explores options within the under-23 market. The Turkish side has reportedly reached its foreign-player quota, making younger recruits an important consideration in its transfer planning.
Fenerbahce have not yet decided whether to pursue the France Under-21 international. The club is reportedly waiting for assessments from its recruitment department and sporting director Oguz Cetin before determining whether to make a formal approach.
Mbappe has impressed at Lille this season, attracting attention as he continues to develop following his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain in 2024. His performances have strengthened his reputation as a promising young talent.
His contract with Lille runs until June 30, 2027, leaving the French club facing an important decision over his future. Lille are keen to retain the young midfielder and are reportedly working towards extending his deal.
