FENERBAHÇE: EMENIKE INJURED IN THE THIGH
Starting from March 5th, the South African national football team will sport Nike apparel for the next five years, as per a partnership agreement signed between the sportswear manufacturer and the South African Football Federation.
The contract comes into effect just in time for Bafana Bafana’s friendly match against the Seleçao, scheduled for March 5th as part of FIFA Day.
This marks the transition from Puma, which previously outfitted the team but withdrew last year amid revelations concerning the alleged manipulation of friendly matches involving the South African selection in 2010.
Prior to the switch to Puma in 2012, South Africa had a long-standing partnership with Adidas for their apparel needs.
