FEMAFOOT unveils new executive committee leadership
The Fédération Malienne de Football has officially announced the composition of its new executive committee, setting out the leadership structure that will guide the country’s football administration in the coming term.
At the helm of the organisation is Mahazou dit Baba Cissé, who has been named president. He will be supported by a team of vice-presidents and committee heads tasked with overseeing key operational and technical areas of Malian football.
The leadership team includes Bassala Touré as First Vice-President, Famakàn Dembélé as Second Vice-President, and General Ousmane Wélé as Third Vice-President.
A wide-ranging executive structure has also been established across technical, financial, and development portfolios. Among the notable appointments are Koman Coulibaly as Chairman of the Referees Committee, Cheick Oumar Haidara in charge of finance, and Boubacar Drame overseeing competitions.
Other members of the committee have been assigned to key departments including youth football, women’s football, medical services, communications, marketing, security, and grassroots development, reflecting what the federation describes as a comprehensive approach to strengthening the sport at all levels.
The announcement marks a new administrative cycle for the Fédération Malienne de Football, with expectations high that the newly constituted team will focus on governance reform, competitive development, and improving the overall structure of football in Mali.
Further details on the committee’s immediate priorities and strategic roadmap are expected in the coming weeks as the new leadership begins its mandate.
