Félix Eboa Eboa attracts transfer interest from Levski Sofia

Cameroonian defender Félix Eboa Eboa could remain in Bulgaria beyond this season, with Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia closely following his situation as his contract with Arda Kardzhali approaches its end.

The 29-year-old centre-back is expected to leave Arda Kardzhali once his current deal expires, but interest from within the Bulgarian top flight may offer him the opportunity to continue his career in the country.

Levski Sofia are reportedly considering the experienced defender as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Eboa Eboa’s familiarity with the Efbet Liga and his consistent performances over recent campaigns have made him an attractive option for the Bulgarian champions.

The former En Avant Guingamp player has established himself as one of the reliable defensive figures in the league and remains an important part of Arda Kardzhali’s setup.

Born in Douala, the Cameroonian featured prominently throughout the campaign, making 27 appearances in the Efbet Liga. In addition to his defensive work, he contributed two goals and one assist during the season.

His importance to the team was also reflected in his regular involvement, having started 83% of Arda Kardzhali’s league matches.

That level of consistency has helped raise interest in his profile as clubs begin preparations for the new season.

Levski Sofia’s interest appears to be strengthened by the fact that the defender could become available on a free transfer, a situation that could prove beneficial for a club aiming to reinforce its back line without paying a transfer fee.

Eboa Eboa, who has represented the Cameroon national team, is currently valued at 750,000 euros by Transfermarkt.

With his future at Arda Kardzhali nearing its conclusion, the defender may now be set for a fresh challenge while remaining in familiar surroundings within Bulgarian football.
