Felix Eboa Eboa: Cameroon defender linked with Nam Dinh FC move
Cameroon-born French defender Felix Eboa Eboa, currently without a club after leaving Arda Kardzhali, is being linked with a move to Vietnamese top-flight side Nam Dinh FC in V.League 1.
The 29-year-old centre-back became a free agent on 1 July 2026 after his spell in Bulgaria with Arda came to an end, placing him on the market ahead of the new campaign. Nam Dinh are exploring a deal that would not require a transfer fee, with Eboa Eboa’s current estimated value standing at €750,000 as of late May.
Eboa Eboa, who stands at 1.86m and plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, would bring experience from European leagues to a Nam Dinh squad seeking to strengthen its defensive options. The club are targeting reinforcements from abroad as they look to compete in V.League 1 and are assessing the financial viability of signing the free agent.
Born in Douala on 19 April 1997, Eboa Eboa has represented both Cameroon and France at youth level and spent the early part of his career in the Paris Saint-Germain system before a free transfer to Guingamp in 2017. He later moved to Arda Kardzhali in February 2024 after a previous spell out of contract.
Having reached a career-high valuation of €5m earlier in his time in Europe, Eboa Eboa is now at a stage where a move to Asia is being considered as a next step. For the moment he remains unattached, evaluating offers as Nam Dinh weigh up whether to formalise their interest.
