FCSB add Cameroon-France forward Arnold Garita after China spell
Cameroon-France centre-forward Arnold Garita has joined Romanian club FCSB on a free transfer from SZ Juniors.
The 31-year-old completed the move on 20 August 2026, switching from China’s League One to Romania’s SuperLiga. Garita will wear the number 14 shirt at FCSB, where he arrives as an experienced attacking option.
Garita was born in Douala and holds Cameroonian and French nationality. Standing at 1.86m, the right-footed striker’s primary position is centre-forward.
His move to FCSB follows his time with SZ Juniors, although the transfer records do not state how long he spent at the Chinese club or how many appearances he made there. The move was completed without a transfer fee.
Garita’s career also includes a spell with Hapoel Beer Sheva, with whom he won the Israeli Cup during the 2024-25 season. That remains the stated major honour of his playing career.
The transfer takes Garita into the Romanian top flight after his previous club competed in League One in China. FCSB, meanwhile, become the latest club to add the striker to their attacking ranks as he begins a new chapter in Bucharest.
Garita’s recorded market value is €700,000, but FCSB secured his services without paying a fee. The club’s announcement of his arrival completes his move from SZ Juniors.
The striker joins FCSB at the age of 31, bringing experience from clubs in different national leagues and a previous cup-winning campaign in Israel. His listed role gives the Romanian side a recognised centre-forward for the SuperLiga season.
Garita has now officially switched from SZ Juniors to FCSB as a free agent, completing the transfer on 20 August 2026.
