FC Sheriff linked with Burkina Faso teenager Abdoul Kabir Ouedraogo

Burkina Faso striker Abdoul Kabir Ouedraogo, who plays for Rahimo FC, has been linked with a move to Moldova’s FC Sheriff.

The reported transfer would see the 18-year-old leave Rahimo FC for Sheriff, who compete in Moldova’s Super Liga. Ouedraogo is a centre-forward and was born on 29 December 2007.

There is limited senior match information available for the teenager, but he has made one recorded appearance in the CAF Champions League. Ouedraogo played 21 minutes in that match, which is the only listed continental appearance attached to his current record.

The link with Sheriff comes while Ouedraogo remains registered with Rahimo FC, the Burkina Faso club where he currently plays. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains at the rumour stage.

Ouedraogo’s potential switch would represent a move from Burkina Faso football to the Moldovan top flight, but there has been no confirmation that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. For now, the striker continues to be listed as a Rahimo FC player.
