YACINE BRAHIMI ADDRESSES TRANSFER RUMORS, COMMITS TO PORTO
Amid growing interest from top European clubs such as PSG, Manchester City, Arsenal, and AC Milan, Yacine Brahimi has finally broken his silence. In an interview with France Football, the Algerian international and FC Porto star downplayed the transfer buzz and made it clear where his focus lies.
“There were indeed requests, but I was careful to keep it minimal and not to affect my job. It was mainly the media who got carried away,” said Brahimi.
The attacking midfielder, who joined Porto last summer, emphasized his commitment to the Portuguese club:
“I am an FC Porto player. I am completely focused on the end of the season. We have three matches to win to hope to win the title, even if it will be complicated. We have to count on a slip-up from Benfica.”
So far this season, Brahimi has made a significant impact, scoring 13 goals in 36 matches across all competitions. While Europe’s elite are circling, for now, the former Granada man seems firmly rooted in Porto’s title challenge.
