Yacine Brahimi Chooses FC Porto Over PSG Interest
Yacine Brahimi, who joined FC Porto from Granada this summer, was also on Paris Saint-Germain’s radar. The former Rennes player even received a personal call from PSG’s deputy sporting director Olivier Létang. However, the Ligue 1 champions failed to convince the Algerian international.
“Every player dreams of playing there, especially when you’re from the region, but I’m really happy to be at Porto,” Brahimi told L’Équipe.
Porto invested €6.5 million to secure the 24-year-old winger, who has already made his debut in the Portuguese league this season.
