FC Nantes has set its sights on Pape Moussa Fall, the Senegalese striker currently at RFC Seraing, as the club looks to bolster its squad during the winter transfer window.

The 20-year-old forward is reportedly a top priority for the Canaries, who are eager to improve on a challenging first half of the season.

Nantes, having started 2025 with a 1-0 victory over LOSC, sees the January transfer window as an opportunity to strengthen their squad and push for a higher league finish.

With an eye on reinforcing their attacking options, the club has zeroed in on Fall as their primary target for the month.

Impressive Performances in Belgium Fall, who has been in superb form for RFC Seraing in Belgium’s second division, has netted eight goals in just 16 appearances across all competitions this season.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, with several top European clubs also interested in securing his services.

The young striker is on loan from FC Metz, where his contract runs until June 2025.

While Nantes is said to be leading the race for his signature, they face competition from other clubs, with Belgian side Genk and Danish club Midtjylland both reportedly keeping tabs on Fall’s situation.

The move to Nantes could offer Fall the chance to step up to Ligue 1, where the club will be hoping to capitalize on his promising talent to help them climb the table.

With several teams vying for his signature, the coming weeks could be pivotal in determining where Fall will continue his development.

Nantes will be eager to wrap up the deal swiftly, as they look to inject new energy into their squad during the winter window.

Fall’s ability to find the back of the net could provide the spark that the club needs to reverse its fortunes and improve its position in the Ligue 1 standings.
