Good news for FC Nantes! Despite being subject to a recruitment ban until 2015 by FIFA due to irregularities in the transfer of Ismaël Bangoura in January 2012, the club had a meeting on Tuesday with FIFA representatives to clarify the scope of this sanction.
Fortunately, the ban will only affect the professional team. The Canaries’ training center and youth sections up to the under-16 level will still be able to welcome new players, allowing the club to continue developing its youth talent.
