Hervaine Moukam Embarks on First Overseas Move, Joins Asteras Tripolis in Greece
Cameroonian-born midfielder Hervaine Moukam is set to begin his first professional adventure abroad, signing with Greek club Asteras Tripolis, according to reports from France Football.
The 20-year-old, who has spent his entire career to date at French side FC Metz, has decided to take the next step by moving to Greece — famously the homeland of legendary midfielder Socrates.
Moukam made 60 appearances across Metz’s CFA and CFA2 teams, showcasing his potential in the club’s reserve and youth setups. This move marks a significant milestone in his career, as he seeks to establish himself in a new environment and continue his development on foreign soil.
Asteras Tripolis, competing in Greece’s top division, will be hoping that Moukam’s arrival adds fresh creativity and energy to their midfield as they pursue their ambitions in the Super League.
