Fasil Kenema linked with Ethiopian defender Anteneh Tesfaye

Ethiopian centre-back Anteneh Tesfaye, currently with Midre Genet, has been linked with a move to Fasil Kenema in the Premier League.

The reported interest emerged on 5 October, with no transfer fee or agreement indicated. Tesfaye, 35, joined Midre Genet from Sidama Bunna on 1 September 2025 after spending two seasons with the club.

He has made 36 Premier League appearances and scored once during his career. His listed market value is €50,000.

Tesfaye began his recorded senior career with Arbaminch before moving to Sidama Bunna in 2015. He subsequently played for Diredawa Ketema and Sebeta, returning to Sidama Bunna before his move to Midre Genet.

The defender was born in Addis Ababa and is also listed with Midre Genet Shire SC at national-club level. No contract expiry date is listed for his current agreement.

Fasil Kenema are therefore the latest club linked with Tesfaye, although the reported move has not been confirmed. He remains a Midre Genet player.
